ARTIST STATEMENT

Because there is only now

I try to spend as much time as I can doing what I like to do. I like to photograph and paint, usually flowers. Most of my paintings are based on photographs that I take. I paint what I like to look at and have around me. I try to convey beauty and serenity in the art.

I have been painting flowers in acrylic since 2013. I also enjoy paper collage, ceramic sculpture, and pottery.
